Bran\u00e4s continues its focus on families with children and a brand new ski area is currently being built on Bran\u00e4s Berg \u2013 a cozy family area that, when completed, will create a unique journey of discovery around the entire mountain. The first slope and lift were completed in season 23\/24.<\/div>\n

Sweden's "Sella Ronda"<\/h2>\n

N\u00f6t\u00e5sen will be the last piece of the puzzle to tie Bran\u00e4s together and create a road around the entire mountain.<\/p>\n

- We have jokingly called it Sweden's Sella Ronda, says Anders Kj\u00e4llstr\u00f6m, CEO of Bran\u00e4sgruppen.<\/p>\n

Sella Ronda is a well-known ski tour of 40 kilometers with slopes and lifts that takes you around the Sella massif in Italy. Even if Bran\u00e4's route around the mountain becomes shorter, it could become something unique for Skis Sweden.<\/p>\n

- There are not many Swedish ski facilities that have skiing in as many directions as we have in Bran\u00e4s and we will be, as far as I know, the first facility that enables a route around the entire mountain.<\/p>\n

N\u00f6t\u00e5sen is located up on the mountain, on the other side of the road from Soltorget, approximately where the current cross-country track is located. The area will offer perfect skiing for families with children and the slopes also lead out to the rest of Bran\u00e4s ski system in two different directions, one towards Medvinden and Mattesdalen and one towards Bj\u00f6rnliftarna and Bran\u00e4s Berg. And when everything is ready, you can make your way from Bran\u00e4s By, around the whole mountain and pass all the areas on the way \u2013 Mattesdalen, N\u00f6t\u00e5sen, Bran\u00e4s Berg and the Lake area \u2013 to finally finish the tour where you started it.<\/p>\n

\u2013 I think it could be a fun adventure for the kids, to get around the entire mountain as quickly as possible.<\/p>\n

The first slope and lift were ready for the start of the 23\/24 season, which was also the season when the first guests moved into the area. By the 25\/26 season, Bran\u00e4s View<\/a> completed and began receiving guests. The project with the new ski area is being built gradually over several years.<\/p>\n

Skiing for the family<\/h2>\n

Skiing at N\u00f6t\u00e5sen is perfect for families with children. The goal is to have 5 green\/blue slopes, three longer and two shorter for the youngest guests. Currently, there is one slope, with an associated lift, that takes guests from N\u00f6t\u00e5sen's cottages and apartments, down to the Bj\u00f6rnlifts on Bran\u00e4s Berg.<\/p>\n

- It will be wonderful skiing plus it will be a smooth way further into the ski system for the residents of the area.<\/p>\n

In addition to the slope to the Bj\u00f6rnliftarna, two more longer slopes are planned, where the goal is for one of them to be a slope that is a bit reminiscent of Nintendo Land, Bran\u00e4s adventure slope that winds down through both forest and characters from the world of Nintendo. The other slope takes you, via a transport lift, to Medvindens avsig where you can continue out into the ski area and reach both Mattesdalen and Bran\u00e4sdalen.<\/p>\n

- The goal is that the family should be able to spend a full day in the area with fun skiing, but that it should be possible to quickly and easily get on to more slopes.<\/p>\n

Cozy center with restaurants and service<\/h2>\n

In the heart of N\u00f6t\u00e5sen you will find a cozy center. Here you can stop for a coffee, lunch or dinner at one of the restaurants, fill up your pantry at the grocery store, or take a break in the heated cabin.<\/p>\n

\u2013 It will be like a smaller version of Soltorget. We have several exciting plans in the works that we hope to be able to present within a couple of years.<\/p>\n

Exactly what type of restaurants and how many there will be is not clear yet, but one goal is for there to be a take away station.<\/p>\n

- We want it to be easy to come in on skis or by car and pick up your food, but of course there will also be restaurants with seating where you can have lunch or dinner with loved ones.<\/p>\n

Next to the center of N\u00f6t\u00e5sen, there will be two shorter slopes with an associated ropeway. Here, children can practice their balance and take their first turns before venturing into more challenging slopes.<\/p>\n

\u2013 With the short children's slopes and the slightly longer slopes in the area, a good progression in level is created. Children can develop their skiing without having to go on more difficult slopes too quickly, and parents can easily keep an eye on things, as everything is within close range.<\/p>\n

Accommodation with ski in\/ski out<\/h2>\n

Whether you have a large or small family, there is accommodation for you at N\u00f6t\u00e5sen. Here you can choose between cozy cottages and modern apartments in various sizes. The accommodation in the area, just like all accommodation in Bran\u00e4s, has a ski in\/ski out location or is within walking distance to lifts and slopes.<\/p>\n
