The SLAO delegation&#039;s impression after the visit was unanimously positive. The mountain&#039;s drop height, design and geographical location made it perfect for a ski resort. There and then began a journey that would become something very special. State loans were given and in 1988 Bran\u00e4s was inaugurated by the king. His passion for the sport and Bran\u00e4s has not faded, on the contrary, it has only grown stronger. After devoting almost his entire working life to making skiing the Swedish popular pastime it is today, he left the Bran\u00e4s Group&#039;s board in 2023 after 10 years of meritorious work.<\/p>\n<p>He will forever live on Bran\u00e4sberget, as a thank you for everything he has done for skiing Sweden and Bran\u00e4s.
