Branäs Challenge 6 km July 11

Welcome to run the Branäs Challenge on July 11th! A 6 km long off-road race that takes you through gravel roads and paths on the upper part of Branäsberget. Here you will get a challenge for both legs and forehead bones on the slopes, but will be rewarded with a magical view when you pass the top! Of course, we also run a race for the children, Björnbuseloppet!

The race is part of this summer's Family Day in Branäs in collaboration with Näckåns Energi and Tripoint. There will also be an afterrun, troubadour evening and a day to explore the summer's news!

Prizes for the top three

The first female and male runners to cross the finish line will each win a skiing holiday, while the second-place finishers will each win a cycling holiday.

1st prize: Skiing holiday
2nd prize: Cycling holiday
3rd prize: Gift card, bag from Helly Hansen, products from Tripoint.

Näckåns Energi will also raffle prizes after the race.

First prize
Trip to Branäs, including accommodation, lift passes and equipment for four people, Thu–Sun/Sun–Thu during selected weeks in the 2026/2027 winter season.

The prize refers to accommodation in Mountain Lodge, Ski Lodge, Byhusen, Bävertorget or Soltorget.

Second prize
Trip to Branäs, including accommodation, lift passes and equipment for four people, Thu–Sun/Sun–Thu during the summer season 2026.

The prize includes accommodation in Mountain Lodge or Soltorget.

The Branäs Challenge

A 6 km long cross-country race that runs along gravel roads, paths and slopes on the upper part of Branäsberget. The course offers a challenge that tests both leg strength and forehead bones – with a fantastic view as a reward at the top.

Time: Start 14:00 (mass start)

Participation fee: 250 SEK

The route is marked with ribbons and arrows. 

Björnbuselopt for children

A children's race of approximately 1 km on an easier loop through the Lohyllan cottage area. Adapted to provide a fun and inspiring running experience for younger participants.

Everyone who reaches the finish line will of course receive a medal!

Try new things, join in on the afterbike and troubadour evening

On July 11th, in connection with the Branäs Challenge, we invite you to a packed Family Day in Branäs, a day filled with joy, music and summer fun for the whole family! In addition to cycling on our trails, riding the cable car or working out in the outdoor gym, you can also try out this year's new activities: Experience speed and excitement on our new red trail Skogsslingan, try out the new easily accessible trampoline or play a football match on the new football pitch.

Registration is open!

Last day to register is July 8. On-site registration opens at 10:00 and is located at Soltorget, make sure to be there well before the start to have time to register.
